Review of ‘Liquid Cool’

Posted on Updated on

When street hustler Easy Chair Charlie gets killed in a shootout with police, Cruz, who is classified as a ‘laborer,’ is asked by business mogul Run-time to investigate. Cruz has no PI license, so he styles himself a consultant, which doesn’t impress the parents of his girlfriend, Dot (aka China Doll), who want something better for their daughter.

Never one to let impossible odds get in his way, Cruz goes up against the cops, several vicious mobs, and the mysterious cyborg, Red Rabbit, to get answers. In the most crowded, dangerous city on earth, he has his work cut out for him.

Austin Dragon’s Liquid Cool is a cyberpunk, mystery story that you won’t be able to put down, so don’t even think about starting it unless you have a cool three hours with nothing else to do. Sam Spade meets Keystone Kops with a drop in by Terminator. Solid writing, full-bodied characters, and a devious, twist-filled plot will keep you licking that page-turning finger.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review. I give it five stars.
