Review of ‘Inheritance’

Posted on Updated on

When Jason Flanigan inherits an old home infused with magic, he thinks his luck has finally turned for the better. The will, from a previously unknown relative, stipulates that he, and his younger siblings must stay in the house together until they learn to use the magic. Jason, though, has a problem; he’s been recruited by the police, a job he doesn’t want to turn down, which means he can’t stay in the house like the will requires.

Inheritance by John O’ Riley is a fantasy story with lots of action and humor mixed in. A short read, it is the author’s first in the Wizards of Seattle series, and is great reading for a dark evening when you have nothing else to do.

I give it four stars.
