Very Inspiring Blogger Award - 2013

I want to thank tazeinmirzasaad of Transcending Borders Blog for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award – 2013. It is such an honor to know that someone thinks this much of my blog.

 

As part of the award, I have to say a few things about myself.

1. I have been writing since my teens.

2. In the 1970s I was an editorial cartoonist for a weekly newspaper in North Carolina.

3. I love traveling, which is in fact why I became a diplomat after retiring from the army.

4. Despite having been a military parachutist, I’m afraid of heights.

5. I’m allergic to cats.

6. In addition to writing, I’m a photographer and artist, which readers of my blog already know.

7. I like fried spam and peanut butter (crunchy) sandwiches.
